The WNBA announces a new partnership with Amazon Web Services that will make advanced stats more available to fans.

The WNBA is leveling up the fan experience with a game-changing new partnership that promises to bring you closer to the action than ever before. Thanks to a multi-year collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the league is launching Inside the Game—a cutting-edge advanced statistics platform that will transform real-time player tracking data into easy-to-understand insights.

Curious about how reigning MVP A'ja Wilson impacts defenses, whether she's handling the ball or moving without it? Wondering about the true difficulty of Caitlin Clark's stepback threes or Paige Bueckers' pull-up mid-range jumpers? Or how about Alyssa Thomas' signature push shot? Inside the Game will answer all these questions and more, giving fans a deeper appreciation for the skill and strategy on the court.

This partnership marks AWS's first with a women's professional sports league, and they're joining the WNBA as an Official Cloud and Cloud AI Partner, as well as a member of the WNBA Changemakers Collective. AWS will also serve as the presenting partner of WNBA Live, the league's fan fest during WNBA All-Star 2026 in Chicago (July 24-25).

Starting this upcoming season, fans can access Inside the Game across the WNBA App, wnba.com, and during live broadcasts. Two new metrics—WNBA Gravity and WNBA Shot Difficulty—will debut, offering a fresh lens to evaluate player performance. As the WNBA celebrates its 30th season, this partnership is set to elevate the game for players and fans alike, proving that women's basketball is more dynamic than ever.
