Texas A&M has added a commitment from a former NBA G League star ahead of the second season under coach Bucky McMillan.
On Wednesday, 21-year-old combo guard Bryson Warren committed to the Aggies. He has spent the last three seasons in the G League, most recently with the Westchester Knicks. While with the Knicks, Warren averaged 19.9 points, five assists and three rebounds this past season.
The Little Rock, Arkansas, native signed with NBA Overtime Elite out of high school, and he joined the Sioux Falls Skyforce after he was selected in the NBA G League draft in 2023. He later declared for the 2024 NBA draft but went unselected.
He signed with the Miami Heat as an undrafted player after participating in the NBA Summer League, but he was waived after a day and returned to the G League.

Warren is not the first G League player we've seen make the jump to college basketball, and he still hasn't appeared in an NBA game. Now, the Aggies add a player with multiple years of professional experience who will presumably come in as an upperclassman.
