The Tennessee Titans are shaking up their roster as they prepare for rookie camp and tryouts this weekend. On April 30, the team waived six players to free up space for their incoming undrafted free agent signings—a crucial step in building depth and finding hidden gems for the upcoming season.

While none of the released players were expected to be major contributors in 2026, a couple had spent significant time on the active roster last year. Here's a look at the six players who were cut, listed alphabetically: defensive ends Ali Gaye and Nate Lynn, defensive lineman Isaiah Raikes, linebacker Cam Riley, running back Blake Watson, and offensive lineman Clay Webb. Additionally, the Titans moved defensive end David Ebuka Agoha to the exempt/international player designation list, meaning he won't count against the team's 90-man roster limit this offseason.

Of the group, Ali Gaye had the best shot at sticking with the team. The defensive end has been with the Titans since 2024 and has bounced around the league since entering the NFL in 2023. Over the past two seasons, he appeared in 18 games, recording nine tackles (three for loss) and one sack. While his departure opens the door for younger talent, Gaye's experience on the edge will be missed as the Titans look to solidify their defensive line.

This roster shuffle comes on the heels of an exciting draft week for Tennessee. The Titans selected wide receiver Carnell Tate with the fourth overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, a move that thrilled fans at Nissan Stadium during their annual draft party. Now, with rookie camp on the horizon, the team is focused on evaluating undrafted free agents who could surprise and earn a spot on the roster. For Titans fans, it's all about building for the future—one roster move at a time.
