NFL draft week is here, as teams finish up their last-minute discussions to determine how their boards will shake out, beginning on Thursday night. The Tennessee Titans have been connected to numerous players projected to be in the top five of the 2026 NFL draft.

While the edge rushers they have been connected to address a position of need, they have been rumored to be intrigued by a prospect who addresses a lesser need in Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love.

However, FOX Sports' Joel Klatt pegged the Titans to take a swing at another position of need, which would be totally unexpected if it occurs on the first night of the draft.

Up until this point, if the Titans were to select anyone from the University of Miami with the No. 4 overall pick, all signs would point to Rueben Bain Jr., but Joel Klatt's mock draft had them selecting offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa.

While help is needed on the offensive line following the losses of Lloyd Cushenberry and Kevin Zeitler, selecting one that high wouldn't be popular.

Klatt mentioned intel he had that the Arizona Cardinals love Jeremiyah Love, and had them taking him at No. 3. With Love off the board, he mentioned rumblings he has heard about the Titans making potential movement along their current offensive line, leading him to believe Mauigoa could be the selection.

Could he be hinting at JC Latham sliding inside to become the right guard? Possibly. However, it is hard to believe that the Titans would pass, in this case, on Texas Tech edge rusher David Bailey or Ohio State edge rusher Sonny Styles with their top pick.

Mauigoa might come into play if the Titans trade back, but don't expect that shocking of a pick at No. 4 on the first night of the draft.
