Tee Higgins is setting his sights on a milestone he hasn't reached since 2022: the 1,000-yard receiving mark. The Bengals wide receiver delivered another double-digit touchdown season in 2025—his second in a row—but fell short of that individual goal for the third straight year.

Higgins finished the 2025 campaign with 846 yards on 59 catches. It's a solid stat line, but for a player of his caliber, it leaves room for more. "I'm trying to shoot for that 1,000 yards this year," Higgins told Rob Gregson of A to Z Sports. "I missed that the last few seasons. I'm trying to get at least 10 touchdowns. Just throwing some goals out there."

Injuries have been a factor. Higgins missed 10 games across the 2023 and 2024 seasons, though he managed to suit up for 15 games in 2025. Still, many of those appearances came without quarterback Joe Burrow under center, which naturally limited the offense's rhythm. The Bengals have also struggled to pair a healthy offense with a reliable defense, a combination that has kept them out of the playoffs for three straight years.

This offseason, Cincinnati has focused on bolstering the defensive side of the ball. If the offense can stay healthy—and Higgins can stay on the field with Burrow—both individual and team goals could finally align. For a receiver who's proven he can be a red-zone threat and a game-changer, hitting that 1,000-yard mark would be a statement worth wearing.
