Formula 1 fans have been buzzing with excitement after Racing Bulls unveiled their striking yellow livery for the Miami Grand Prix—and many are already calling for the team to make it a permanent fixture on the grid.
The Faenza-based squad debuted the vibrant, citrus-inspired design, which draws its bold color from the Red Bull Summer Edition Sudachi Lime, at a star-studded event on a yacht at Kiki on the River in Miami. Team CEO Peter Bayer, principal Alan Permane, and drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad were all on hand to showcase the eye-catching look.
"Miami has become a special place for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls to express who we are as a team," Bayer said. "For the past two years, we've used this race to showcase something bold and unique, and this latest livery is no exception. The Red Bull Summer Edition livery brings a vibrant energy which reflects who we are as a team—creative and willing to push boundaries."
The reaction from the F1 community has been overwhelmingly positive. On Reddit, one fan wrote, "This is how special liveries are supposed to be done, go big or go home—no one wants to see a little yellow stripe." Another added, "Whoever is in charge of RB's liveries was a home run hire."
The enthusiasm didn't stop there. "Finally, some colour on the grid. I wish we had a permanent yellow livery," one fan posted, while another simply declared, "I approve forward, backwards, sideways, upside-down, and in all the other ways somebody can approve of something."
The loudest chorus, however, came from those urging the team to adopt the citrus yellow design for good. "I've seen enough—make it permanent," one fan insisted.
The Miami Grand Prix weekend runs from May 1-3 and will feature the second sprint race of the season, giving Racing Bulls plenty of track time to show off their bold new look. Whether or not the yellow stays, one thing is clear: this livery has already won over the hearts of fans worldwide.
