This week, Mount Carmel and Lemont each climb a spot, while Homewood-Flossmoor makes a splashy entrance into the top 10. 1. St. Laurence (28-1, previously 1st)
The Vikings are simply unstoppable. Riding a 25-game winning streak, they swept St. Rita and Providence, powered by Kentucky recruit Tristan Steger's scorching bat. This team looks poised for a deep playoff run.
2. Lincoln-Way East (24-3, previously 2nd)

3. Lockport (20-7, previously 3rd)

Miami commit Ian Tosi continues his inspiring comeback from a season-ending injury in 2025. He allowed just one run over five innings in a 10-1 win over DePaul Prep, showing he's back to top form.
6. Lemont (22-3, previously 7th)
Cannon Madej silenced Lincoln-Way West, allowing only unearned runs in a 10-3 victory. The win extended Lemont's streak to 13 games, making them one of the hottest teams in the area.
7. Lincoln-Way West (18-6, previously 5th)
Michael Petit and the Warriors look to rebound after dropping ground in the conference race. Upcoming games against Lockport and Lincoln-Way Central will be crucial.
8. Sandburg (16-8, previously 8th)
Senior right-hander Noah Highfill turned in a sharp performance, striking out six and allowing just one hit over four innings in a 7-1 win over Plainfield East. The Eagles are steady as ever.
9. St. Rita (19-8, previously 9th)
It was a roller-coaster week for the Mustangs, who went 3-3. The highlight? Danny Corona's complete-game shutout in an 8-0 victory over Rich Township. Consistency is key moving forward.
10. Homewood-Flossmoor (15-10, previously unranked)
Welcome to the top 10, Vikings! Senior catcher Kamari Dawkins delivered a walk-off double in an 8-7 thriller over Lincoln-Way Central, sparking a four-game winning streak. This team is surging at the right time.
Player of the Week Spotlight: Keep an eye on De La Salle's freshman catcher/infielder Terrell Hampton-Hall. Over four games (all wins), he went an incredible 9-for-12 with five runs, four doubles, a triple, a home run, and 10 RBIs. That's a week for the highlight reel.
