That made his run with Team USA in Paris feel like something special, especially when he delivered clutch performances down the stretch to help bring home gold.

Now the conversation is shifting again. The 2026 NBA season is done for the Golden State Warriors, and people want to know if Curry will suit up for the United States men’s national basketball team when the 2028 Games come to Los Angeles.
Back in November, Curry seemed ready to close the door on another Olympic appearance. His comments disappointed fans who hoped to see him compete on home soil. But his stance doesn’t sound as definite anymore.
Curry spoke exclusively with the California Post last week and didn’t completely shut things down. The topic turned to the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and whether he could picture himself playing for Team USA again.
His answer came across measured and calm, without leaning too hard in either direction. He didn’t commit, but he didn’t rule it out either.
“We’ll figure it out when the time comes, for sure,” Curry shared with the Post.
LeBron James already gave some clarity on his Olympic future. He indicated he expects to be watching from the sidelines by 2028, even with the Games happening in Los Angeles.
Still, a home-soil event carries serious weight, and that possibility lingers. For Curry, the decision seems more about durability than anything else.
