With just three days to the 2026 NFL Draft, trade speculation is everywhere. We talked about a pre-draft trade that would make sense for Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers that would help both teams by sending quarterback Mac Jones to the Steelers in exchange for EDGE Alex Highsmith, along with a swap of picks.

Here's our our mock draft turned out using that trade as the template.

The Niners get EDGE Alex Highsmith and pick Nos. 76, 85, and 99

With Jones in place, getting a starting left guard is the team's top priority. We aren't convinced Vega Ioane will be on the board at No. 21 but if he is, this is easily the best option.

It took a bit to warm up to Bryce Lance as a second-round option but a run on wide receivers leaves us here. He's got plenty of NFL traits and his elite speed definitely helps his stock.

Tiernan doesn't get a lot of hype but he's got all the traits of a starter and a ton of experience. His critics point to shorter arms but the film backs up that he's an NFL starter.

Davis is very similar to guys like Joey Porter Jr. and Jalen Ramsey with great length, field speed, physicality in coverage and good flexibility.

Adding help along the defensive line is a must and we feel like Capehart's ceiling as a player is much higher thant what we say at Clemson.
