Gennings Dunker is going to be a Pittsburgh Steelers fan favorite simply because of who he is.
Dunker has a red mullet and tattoos, and he really likes Culver's.
But the third-round pick is so much more than that. The reality is that Dunker has a chance to seriously improve Pittsburgh's offensive line.
His athleticism is going to be slept on, but it's impressive. He rates as one of the best offensive guards in databases that compile this kind of stuff.
Gennings Dunker was drafted in round 3 with pick 96 in the 2026 draft class. He scored a 9.56 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 84 out of 1908 OG from 1987 to 2026.Updated to OG as he was announced as one.https://t.co/gTwF5e2O8Xpic.twitter.com/OF0eYixQZQ

Even if you don't understand everything that's happening there, it's pretty clear that a lot of green is good.
Basically, it's saying that relative to other guys who play his position, Dunker is a high-end athlete.
The Steelers might rely on him to start right away, or maybe they'll let him watch and learn just for a bit.
There is likely a long NFL career ahead for Dunker, though, which will earn him plenty of fans along the way.
