Roberto De Zerbi has said Tottenham Hotspur have to do more to escape relegation this season.

Spurs sit 18th in thePremier League table heading into the final five games of the campaign. The North Londoners have not won a league fixture since December, a run of 15 games.

De Zerbi's side head to relegated Wolves this afternoon in a fixture that will be targeted for maximum points. The Italian said he saw positives in the performance last time out, despite the setback of conceding a last-gasp equaliser to Brighton.

However, he warned Spurs that more must be done if the club are to avoid a first relegation since 1977. Tottenham are two points from safety.

"I don't want to put too much pressure but we have to know the situation. We can't forget the table" De Zerbi said at his pre-match press conference.

"We can't forget we need a win. We can't forget maybe what we have done until now, not maybe, for sure what we have done until now is not enough.

"Anyway if we win in Wolverhampton it is not finished yet. There are other four games but I think now we deserve to win a game. Also with Brighton, I knew before the game it is one of the best teams in thePremier League in this moment. After their game against Chelsea everyone knows. We played a good game and deserved to win."

Spurs have been handed a boost by the return to fitness of vice-captain James Maddison, following an ACL injury. However, De Zerbi tempered expectations and the midfielder is not ready to be thrust back into the side.

"He's not available yet, especially in this week, he felt pain, but not an important problem,"De Zerbi said.

"Tomorrow he'll come with us on the bench. He's important for us whether he plays or not. It's better he plays but also as a guy, as a leader, as a positive guy inside my dressing room. I want to see nice people and positive people."
