It's time to cast your vote for the MyCentralJersey.com Softball Player of the Week for Week 6 of the 2026 season! Another exciting week of action across Central Jersey has delivered a fresh crop of standout athletes, and we need your help to crown the top performer.

Our nominations, compiled by Simeon Pincus and Josh Rosenfeld, feature players who shined through Sunday, May 10. The winner of this fan vote will be celebrated as the official Player of the Week. Let's meet the contenders:

Julia DeLuca, Mount St. Mary
This four-year starting third baseman has been a model of consistency, reaching base safely in every game since opening day. She recorded a hit in all but three contests this season. Last week, DeLuca went 5-for-10 with a double, triple, three walks, five runs, and four RBIs across four games—including a tight one-run loss to surging Gill St. Bernard's and a Prep A clash with two-time defending champion Pingry. She closed strong with wins over Montclair Kimberly and Chatham. On the season, she's hitting .382 with five doubles, a triple, and seven walks.

Emma Fallon, Phillipsburg
The Stateliners enjoyed a big 3-1 week, with the lone loss coming to powerhouse Hillsborough. Fallon was instrumental in wins over Hunterdon Central and top-seeded Delaware Valley in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament semifinals, plus a rivalry victory against Easton. She went 7-for-14 with four runs and five RBIs, including a 3-for-4, two-RBI day against Central and two RBIs in the 5-4 win over Del Val. The second baseman is hitting .353 this season.

Megan Fazio, Mother Seton
Despite playing only two games, this junior catcher made a massive impact, driving in 11 runs as the Lions extended their winning streak to three. Fazio went 3-for-3 with five RBIs in a win at Mother Seton, then followed up with a grand slam and a walkoff single in a return matchup. She's batting an impressive .553 with a .974 slugging percentage and a team-leading 29 RBIs.

Mackenzie Fusaro, South Plainfield
The Tigers won three of four games last week, thanks in large part to Fusaro's 6-for-14 performance with five RBIs. She delivered a two-hit, three-RBI showing in a divisional win at Monroe. The sophomore is hitting .414 with a .543 slugging percentage—numbers that mirror her breakout freshman campaign (.415/.523) when the team won the GMCT title. She already has 56 career hits.

Sophia Rossi, North Brunswick
The Bears have won six straight games, and their sophomore ace has been in the circle for every one of them. Rossi powered through wins over North Brunswick and other opponents, anchoring a defense that has been nearly unhittable during the streak.

Don't forget: Last week's winner was Metuchen's Adrianna Siedenburg. Now it's your turn to choose this week's standout. Vote now and help us spotlight the best of Central Jersey softball!
