Isa Torres has had a historic season for the Florida State Seminoles, and she has received yet another major award. FSU's superstar was named the National Player of the Week by Softball America on Tuesday.

She hit .400 in FSU's four games with five home runs as the Seminoles beat the Florida Gators and swept the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. She hit two home runs against Florida and two more against Georgia Tech on Saturday and is up to 16 on the season.

Torres had six RBI in the four games, getting at least one hit in all four games, striking out just one time in 15 at-bats. She also continued to play elite defense, making several great plays in the field in close games.

She is now hitting .569 on the season with a career-high 16 home runs with 49 RBI, 14 doubles, and six triples. She has a .633 on-base percentage and is slugging 1.083 with 11 stolen bases. She has yet to make an error in 143 chances.

Torres and the rest of the Seminoles will return to action on Tuesday when they play the Florida Gators in Gainesville, Florida. The game is set to start at 7 p.m. ET and will be on the SEC Network.
