The win in Adams improves Southland's early season record to a perfect 2-0, showcasing a team firing on all cylinders.

While Smith provided the offensive fireworks, pitcher Brekken Koenigs was utterly dominant on the mound. Koenigs earned the win with a spectacular six-inning outing, striking out nine batters and, most impressively, not allowing a single hit.
