WNBA star Skylar Diggins and broadcaster Cassidy Hubbarth are launching “ANDMOM”, a new podcast that hopes to rewrite the career-motherhood playbook.

Two of the most influential women in sports are rewriting the playbook on balancing a high-powered career with motherhood. WNBA superstar Skylar Diggins and veteran broadcaster Cassidy Hubbarth are teaming up for ANDMOM, a bold new video podcast that promises to get real about the challenges and triumphs of modern motherhood.

Launching May 14 through Vox Media and Wavelength, the podcast brings together an incredible lineup of guests who know a thing or two about juggling elite performance and parenting. Think WNBA Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie, 10-time All-Star Brittney Griner, Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson, and Peloton's Ally Love—all sharing their honest, unfiltered stories.

Diggins, a seven-time WNBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist entering her 12th season (she recently signed with the Chicago Sky), knows this struggle firsthand. After battling severe postpartum depression, she made a personal decision to speak out, using her platform to help other women feel less alone and push for real change.

"Sometimes it feels like there's an asterisk when you're looking for stories about motherhood and having a career," Diggins shared. "As a mother, you search for these spaces to hold conversations you feel you're alone in. You wonder, 'Can I have it all?' We've been conditioned to think we can't be successful in our careers and also be present, good moms. That's just not true."

Hubbarth brings her own powerful perspective. After 15 years covering the NBA at ESPN, she joined Amazon Prime Video in 2025 as lead NBA sideline reporter. Her journey navigating pregnancy in such a high-profile role fueled her commitment to opening up more conversations about motherhood in the workplace.

"As motherhood is happening, you're navigating so much—and often feeling like you have to hide parts of that journey to keep up," Hubbarth notes. ANDMOM flips that script, creating a space where working moms can see themselves and know they're not alone.

For any mom who's ever wondered if she can truly have it all—or just needs to hear she's doing a great job—this podcast is about to become your new go-to listen.
