BOSTON -- As the Philadelphia 76ers prepare for Tuesday's Game 2 matchup with the Boston Celtics in Round 1 of the playoffs, the idea is to bounce back. They had a rough opening to the postseason as the Celtics won easily 123-91 to take a 1-0 series lead, but the Sixers now have to find a way to respond.

Rookie VJ Edgecombe has been a player who has bounced back throughout his maiden season. Whenever he has a tough shooting game--as he did in Game 1 against the Celtics, he finds a way to bounce back. He has a short memory and is looking to put that to good use in Game 2 on Tuesday night.

"You learn quickly in this league," Edgecombe said at shootaround on Tuesday morning. "You can’t let one game affect you in a bad way. obviously, you wanna get better. If you think about it, it’s the playoffs. If you’re worried about Game 1, it’s already done. We can’t do nothing about it. Then, lose Game 2, lose Game 3, lose Game 4, we go home, you know what I’m saying? So, it’s always just what’s next? That’s always the main thing. What’s next? For me, at least."

The Sixers had a lengthy film session at Monday's practice at Harvard University, with the focus being on the little details that can swing a playoff series. Coach Nick Nurse and his staff wanted to make sure everybody was on the same page heading into a big Game 2 matchup.

"It definitely was a lot more," laughed Edgecombe. "Just because you're playing the same team. It's way more meaningful than, say a regular season game. Obviously, a regular season game matters because it determines your seeding in the playoffs, but yeah. That was a lot of information that you just have to get in. I think we're ready."

The Sixers and the Celtics will tip off at 7 p.m. EDT on Tuesday from the TD Garden in Boston.
