Florida State softball is on a roll, and the accolades just keep coming. After capturing their 20th ACC Championship with a gritty 2-1 win over No. 3-seeded Virginia Tech, the No. 9 Seminoles are gearing up for the Tallahassee Regional. And now, six of their standout players have earned spots on the NFCA All-Gulf Region Team—a huge boost as they aim for a deep postseason run and a return to the Women's College World Series.
Leading the charge is pitcher Jazzy Francik, who posted a stellar 0.77 ERA in the ACC Tournament and was named to the First Team. She's joined on the First Team by Isa Torres, Ashtyn Danley, Jaysoni Beachum, and Anna Hinde—each of whom delivered all season long. Infielder Marin Heller also earned a well-deserved spot on the Second Team.
This marks a historic moment for the program: the five First Team selections tie Florida State's record dating back to 1995. Even better, all six players are now eligible for All-America honors, which would be a standout achievement on any collegiate resume.
With the postseason heating up, the Seminoles will face Stetson in the Tallahassee Regional opener on Friday at noon ET, with a potential matchup against UCF or Jacksonville State looming. Fans can catch all the action on ESPNU.
Congratulations to these six Noles—your hard work is paying off in a big way!
