The Florida Gators are making waves in SEC softball, with seven players earning All-SEC honors for the 2026 season—a testament to the program's depth and talent. Leading the charge, the Gators matched a conference high with four First-Team All-SEC selections: senior catcher/first baseman Jocelyn Erickson, junior pitcher Keagan Rothrock, redshirt freshman outfielder Townsen Thomas, and sophomore outfielder Taylor Shumaker.
Joining them on the All-SEC Second Team are junior outfielder Cassidy McLellan and senior shortstop Kenleigh Cahalan, while sophomore second baseman Gabi Comia earned her first career All-SEC nod by landing a spot on the All-Defensive Team. For McLellan and Thomas, this marks their debut on the All-SEC stage, while Shumaker repeats as a First-Team selection for the second straight season. Erickson was previously recognized on the 2024 All-SEC First Team, and both Rothrock and Cahalan were Second Team honorees that same year.
The All-SEC teams—comprising 25 First Team, 26 Second Team, and nine All-Defensive selections—were determined by a vote of the league's head coaches, with no ties broken. This recognition highlights the Gators' rising dominance and sets the stage for an exciting season ahead.
Whether you're a die-hard Gators fan or just love the thrill of SEC softball, these players are ones to watch—and their success is the perfect excuse to gear up in Florida's colors.
