This Sunday, AC Milan Women take on Parma at the PUMA House of Football in what promises to be an emotional and pivotal Serie A matchup. With just two games left in the season, the Rossonere are aiming to close out the campaign on a high note—and they'll be doing it with a special tribute to their mothers.

In celebration of Mother's Day, every AC Milan player will wear their mother's maiden name on the back of their shirts, and the names will also appear in the official line-ups. It's a heartfelt gesture that adds an extra layer of meaning to the final home game of the season for Coach Bakker's squad.

Currently sitting just one point shy of fourth place and six points from third, the Rossonere have plenty to play for. A strong finish against Parma and Ternana Women could see them climb the table and build momentum heading into the offseason. Unfortunately, Zanini and Park will miss the match due to muscle injuries, but Angelica Soffia returns after sitting out the derby. After three consecutive home games without a win, the team is eager to give their fans a positive result at the PUMA House of Football.

Parma arrives in tenth place, just three spots above the relegation zone with 16 points. They were denied the chance to secure their Serie A survival last round after a 3-1 home loss to Lazio, snapping a five-match unbeaten run. Now, they need just one point to guarantee top-flight status—and they'll be desperate to get it against the Rossonere.

Coach Giovanni Valenti acknowledged the challenge ahead: "AC Milan play attacking football. They create a lot and concede few chances. They're a team we respect, and facing them will be exciting. We're really hungry to get there—there's only a few more meters to go, and we'll have to give it everything we've got."

History favors the home side. AC Milan are unbeaten in their first three Serie A meetings with Parma, with two wins and a draw, and they have yet to concede a goal against the Emilian side. Defensively, the Rossonere have been impressive this season, allowing just 13 goals from open play—only Juventus (11) have done better. And offensively, only Inter (35) and Roma (26) have scored more open-play goals than Milan's 25.

With Giorgia Arrigoni leading the charge in tackles, the Rossonere have the grit and skill to finish the season strong. Kick-off is at 12:30 CEST—don't miss this special Mother's Day showdown.
