The Seattle Seahawks are locking in their future, announcing Thursday that six of their eight 2026 draft picks have officially signed their rookie contracts. This flurry of activity signals a strong start to the team's offseason preparations, with only two selections remaining unsigned heading into rookie minicamp.
The first wave of signings includes players from Rounds 3 through 7, all inking standard four-year rookie deals. Leading the pack is former Arkansas cornerback Julian Neal, taken 99th overall. Neal's excitement about joining the Seahawks was palpable when he was drafted, and his early signing shows he's ready to get to work.
Also putting pen to paper is former Iowa guard Beau Stephens, selected 148th overall after Seattle traded up in the fifth round. A first-team All-American in 2025, Stephens brings a level of NFL readiness that could make him an immediate contributor on the offensive line.
The Seahawks' seventh-round picks also joined the fold. Cornerback Andre Fuller (236th overall) out of Toledo impressed with his athletic testing, and his explosiveness could carve out a niche role despite the team drafting three corners this year. Meanwhile, nose tackle Deven Eastern (242nd overall) from Minnesota is a developmental project with a high ceiling, though he may need time to earn playing time.
Rounding out the signings is cornerback Michael Dansby (255th overall) from Arizona, Seattle's final pick of the draft. Dansby thrived as part of a standout secondary alongside higher-drafted teammates, and his ability to elevate his game in that system likely caught the Seahawks' eye.
Seattle's top two selections—former Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price and former TCU safety Bud Clark—remain unsigned, along with sixth-round pick Emmanuel Henderson Jr., a wide receiver from Kansas. However, Henderson inked his deal later Thursday, leaving only Price and Clark as the last holdouts. Both are expected to sign in the coming days, ensuring the entire rookie class is under contract before camp heats up.
