Double Olympic champion Duncan Scott sent a powerful message at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships in London, storming to victory in the men's 200m individual medley. The win showcases his enduring class as he builds momentum for a huge summer.

The 28-year-old Scot, a silver medalist in this event at the last two Olympic Games, dominated the field with a commanding time of 1:56.08. This performance not only secured the national title but also booked his ticket to this summer's European Aquatics Championships in Paris.

Scott was pleased with his technical execution, stating, "In terms of my technique, my strokes and transitions between them felt pretty good, and I'm happy – that's a good place for me to be at this time of the season." He finished ahead of Evan Jones in second and Max Litchfield in third.

This victory adds to an already legendary resume that includes gold in the men's 4x200m freestyle relay at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, proving his versatility and clutch performance on the biggest stages.

The evening's action also featured thrilling sprint victories. Oliver Morgan blasted to a new personal best of 24.36 to win the 50m backstroke, while Eva Okaro continued her impressive week, claiming her second title in the women's 50m butterfly with a PB of 25.95—breaking the sub-26-second barrier for the first time.

Okaro, embracing the pure speed of the event, said, "I'm really happy with that... I'm also quite good at a splash and dash, so why not!" The championships continue to crown British champions across 36 medal events, highlighting the depth of talent pushing towards future international success.
