Get ready, sports fans—the Savannah Bananas are taking their show to Disney+ in a big way. The Banana Bowl, the championship game of the Banana Ball League, is officially streaming on Disney+ this October, bringing together all six teams for what promises to be the most epic production yet from the viral sensation.

This isn't just a one-off event; it's the latest chapter in a partnership that's been heating up all year. The Bananas first hit ESPN in 2022, and since then, they've been on a wild ride—inking deals with Stadium, Bally Live, The CW, truTV, and Roku. Last year, ESPN aired 12 Bananas games. This season, they've locked in a 25-game exclusive package, with every game streaming on Disney+ and the ESPN App, plus select matchups on ABC and ESPN networks. Remember that historic game at Autzen Stadium in Oregon? That was a first-of-its-kind national showcase on ABC. Roku added five more exclusive games, and truTV aired 19 games last summer, including the first-ever tour championship. Now, that championship has found a permanent home at Disney+.

But the Bananas are going all-in with Disney. They've already hosted a Savannah Bananas Day at Disneyland Resort in California. Next up: Banana Ball is heading to Walt Disney World in late May for a game at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex. In July, the team will swing by ESPN's headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut, for a summer event at Dunkin' Park in Hartford. And if that's not enough, second baseman Jackson Olson was just announced as a competitor on Season 35 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. That pretty much sums up where the Bananas stand as a cultural phenomenon right now.

What started as a barnstorming exhibition act has turned into a full-blown sports and entertainment empire. The Bananas have been selling out NFL stadiums, college football venues, and MLB ballparks nationwide, all while redefining what baseball can be. With the Banana Bowl heading to Disney+, they're proving that the show is just getting started. Whether you're a die-hard fan or new to the Banana Ball craze, this October is going to be one for the books.
