AS Roma are reigniting their pursuit of attacking reinforcements as they look to inject fresh firepower into their frontline. Head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has made it clear that adding quality, pace, and clinical finishing is a top priority for the Giallorossi this summer.
The club is preparing for a major shakeup in attack. Players like Ferguson, Zaragoza, and likely Venturino are expected to depart, while star striker Artem Dovbyk remains on the exit ramp. Meanwhile, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Stephan El Shaarawy could stay on despite expiring contracts—especially the former.
With Donyell Malen seemingly the only guaranteed starter, Roma are casting a wide net for wingers who can fit Gasperini's high-energy, attacking system. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has its eye on West Ham's Crysencio Summerville and Club Brugge's Christos Tzolis—both represented by the same agency as Malen.
But the most intriguing name on the list is Tottenham Hotspur's Mathys Tel. The 2004-born forward has managed three Premier League goals this season but has yet to fully showcase his potential in north London. Roma made a move for him back in January, and a renewed push this summer is very much on the cards.
With a revamped attack on the horizon, Roma fans have plenty of reasons to be excited about what's coming next.
