Roma have made it clear: Niccolò Pisilli is not for sale. The 20-year-old midfielder, a product of the Giallorossi youth academy, has undergone a remarkable transformation this season, and the club is determined to keep him.

In the first half of the campaign, Pisilli was a benchwarmer, barely seeing the pitch. Manager Gian Piero Gasperini's decision to limit his minutes raised eyebrows, but it was all part of the plan. Gasperini was patiently waiting for the right moment to unleash a new, more complete version of the 2004-born talent: balanced, intense, and composed on the ball—in short, a more mature player.

That patience has paid off. Pisilli's performances in the second half of the season have been nothing short of impressive, catching the eye of Juventus. The Bianconeri have made exploratory inquiries, with the club's management and coach Luciano Spalletti both big fans of the midfielder. Spalletti, in particular, was full of praise for Pisilli's display in the Roma vs. Juventus clash.

But despite the interest from Turin, Roma are standing firm. According to Tuttosport, Gasperini is blocking any potential sale of the number 61, even if a substantial capital gain is on the table. The Rome-based coach is working closely with Pisilli, who has improved so much that he has become an important starter for the team.

The numbers back up the hype. Pisilli has never scored four goals in a single season for Roma—excluding his youth team days, of course. His growth has been a bright spot for the Giallorossi, and they have no intention of letting him go anytime soon.
