Danny Rohl has made one thing crystal clear: he's not going anywhere. The Rangers manager is "100% convinced" he'll be leading the charge at Ibrox next season, despite mounting pressure and swirling rumors about his future.

It's been a tough week for the Gers. Back-to-back league defeats—a painful first since 2018—have put the squad on the back foot. With a trip to Celtic Park looming on Sunday, there's a real risk of slipping to third in the Scottish Premiership standings. But Rohl isn't flinching.

"There's a lot of rumours," the 37-year-old German admitted. "I look back last year with how many clubs I was linked. I could get maybe 20 jobs there in the newspaper, but generally, my full focus is on Rangers. Even the last couple of days, our conversations with the board goes just in one direction: how we can win titles with the club in the future. From my side, of course, 100% I'm convinced—I chose the club with the reason to bring them back to success."

Rohl took over from Russell Martin back in October, inheriting a squad that was 13 points adrift of Hearts and eight behind Celtic. Since then, he's won 21 and drawn eight of his 37 games in charge—a solid turnaround that briefly had Rangers within touching distance of the top. For 24 hours, they even sat ahead of Hearts before the league leaders played their game in hand.

But the trophy drought is real. Rangers haven't lifted silverware since the 2023 League Cup, which followed a Scottish Cup triumph and their 2021 Premiership title. Meanwhile, Celtic have stacked nine trophies since then, Aberdeen and St Mirren have one each, and Hearts are on course for their first top-flight crown since 1960. Celtic are also in this month's Scottish Cup final, facing Championship hopefuls Dunfermline Athletic.

For Rangers to salvage the season, they'd need a near-miracle: leaders Hearts taking no more than a point from their final three games, Rangers winning all three of theirs, and Celtic dropping points in their last two fixtures. It's a tall order, but Rohl is focused on the bigger picture—building a title-winning team for the long haul.

The speculation linking him with a move to Wolfsburg in his homeland hasn't helped, but Rohl is brushing it off. "This is also part from our club," he said, referencing the shared ambition to bring trophies back to Ibrox. With Champions League qualification on the line—the winners heading to the play-off round—every point matters now. But for Rohl, the real prize is the future.
