Robin Pingeton's squad has a new coach in town as the Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball program welcomed new assistant Julia Ford.
Ford comes to Madison with seven years of collegiate experience. The standout player turned coach has experience coaching under Pingeton at Missouri which helped lead to her hiring with the Badgers.
Overall, Ford has coached at Coastal Carolina, Missouri, and Grand Canyon. Other than those three colleges, she has experience with USA Basketball.

"We're excited to welcome Julia Ford to Wisconsin," Pingeton said. "Having worked with her at Missouri, I've seen the impact she brings. Julia is a strong teacher of the game with a proven ability to develop players, and her energy and connection with student-athletes make her a great addition to our staff."
Currently, UW lists Chris Bracey as the associate head coach with three other assistant coaches: McGhee Mann, Ariel Massengale, and Evan Johnston.
