Rich Rolf, a 6-foot-7 forward who played last season at Youngstown State, has committed to the Miami University RedHawks, the team announced April 24.

Rolf played at Charlotte before transferring to YSU, where he made 30 starts and averaged 9.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists as a redshirt junior.

He redshirted during the 2022-23 season, and played in three games for the 49ers in 2023-24 before suffering a season-ending injury. He played in 30 games for Charlotte in 2024-25, starting seven of them.

Rolf starred at Centerville High School, averaging 17.5 points per game as a senior. He helped the Elks to consecutive Ohio state championship games, winning the title in 2022.

Rolf's Centerville team defeated Lakota West in the postseason in 2020.

Earlier in the month, the RedHawks announced the commitment of Preston Copeland, a 6-foot-9 forward who played his freshman season for the Ball State Cardinals.
