Wrestling legend Ric Flair has once again taken aim at injured Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic, this time during Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals against the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.
With the Lakers fighting to avoid an 0-3 series hole, the WWE Hall of Famer took to social media to voice his displeasure. "There Is Only One Word That I Can Possibly Say, And That's DISAPPOINTED," Flair wrote. "46 Million Dollars, And You Can't Play. OMG, I Would Jump Off The Empire State Building With A Parachute For 46 Million Dollars A Year, And I Don't Even Know How To Pull The Cord To Open It."
Doncic has been sidelined since April 2 with a grade 2 left hamstring strain. He recently revealed that doctors initially gave him an eight-week recovery timeline, meaning a return wouldn't be likely until the Western Conference finals—if the Lakers can make it that far. To speed things up, Doncic traveled to Spain for platelet-rich plasma injections, a non-surgical treatment that uses the patient's own blood to promote healing in muscles and tendons. Still, he's sticking with the original eight-week plan for now.
This isn't the first time Flair has called out the 25-year-old superstar during this series. After the Lakers' 107-90 loss in Game 1, he posted: "Luka, Please Get In The Game! Take A Shot Of Cortisone And Deal With The Pain! They Are Paying You 50 Million A Year, And You're Not There! WTF! I Hope They Trade You Next Year. Nobody Wants A Lame Duck On Their Team!"
For Lakers fans, the tension is palpable. With their season on the line, every game without their star playmaker feels like a missed opportunity. And when a wrestling icon like Ric Flair—known for his own larger-than-life persona—starts piling on, it only adds to the drama unfolding on and off the court.
