Inter Milan are refusing to give up on their pursuit of Moussa Diaby. After a failed attempt to sign the French winger from Saudi side Al-Ittihad in January, the Serie A champions are reportedly preparing a fresh assault for the summer transfer window.
According to reports, Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio made a tangible late push in the winter, proposing a loan deal with an option to buy for around €30 million. However, Al-Ittihad, who paid Aston Villa a hefty €60 million for Diaby just last year, swiftly rejected the offer.
The landscape may have shifted in Inter's favor since then. The 26-year-old speedster has reportedly fallen out of favor in Riyadh, seeing minimal playing time under manager Sergio Conceicao. This strained relationship presents a potential opening for the Nerazzurri.
For Inter, adding a player of Diaby's profile—a versatile, pacey forward with proven experience in Europe's top leagues—would be a significant boost as they look to build on their Scudetto success. His potential arrival would add another dynamic weapon to an attack already featuring the likes of Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram, signaling ambitious intentions for the coming season.
