Premier League side Bournemouth are reportedly preparing a significant summer move to rescue Brazilian winger Luis Henrique from his difficult spell at Inter Milan. According to reports from Italy, the Cherries are set to lodge a bid in the region of €25 million for the 24-year-old attacker.
Henrique's arrival at the San Siro last summer was met with considerable fanfare. Inter fought off competition from European giants like Bayern Munich to secure his signature from Olympique Marseille for a similar €25 million fee, viewing him as the long-term heir to Dutch wing-back Denzel Dumfries.
However, the transition to Serie A has proven challenging. Despite making 26 league appearances this season, Henrique has managed just one goal and three assists, failing to cement a regular starting role under manager Cristian Chivu. His struggles for form and impact have left his future in Italy uncertain.
While offloading the Brazilian is not Inter's top priority, the club is understood to be open to offers that would allow them to recoup their initial investment. This has opened the door for Bournemouth, who are looking to add dynamism to their attack ahead of the new Premier League campaign. A move to the English south coast could offer Henrique the fresh start he needs to rediscover the potential that once made him one of Europe's most sought-after talents.
