Boston Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony is not in the team's starting lineup for the fourth consecutive game on Saturday against the Baltimore Orioles.
"Game 2 in Baltimore." the Red Sox's official account posted on Bluesky, along with Boston's starting lineup.
Anthony missed the Red Sox's final two contests of their home series vs. the New York Yankees on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as Boston's road-opener against the Orioles on Friday.
The Red Sox have lost four in a row and have been outscored 22-6 during the skid.
Boston manager Alex Cora said before Thursday's game that Anthony would be available off the bench and the 21-year-old said on Friday that he'd be "ready to play in the next couple of days."
