A new development strategy is taking shape at Real Madrid, and it could once again involve Como as a key partner in nurturing the club’s next generation of talent.
Following the positive progress of Nico Paz, the relationship between the two clubs has grown stronger and now, it appears that more players from Madrid’s academy, La Fabrica, could be heading down the same path.
According to recent reports from AS, Como have identified two standout prospects as priority targets, namely, Daniel Yanez and Jesus Fortea.
Both players, just 19 years old, are seen as promising talents capable of taking the next step in their development with regular senior football.
Before this interest materialised, Real Madrid had already been evaluating the best pathways for their young players.
While one section of the club’s hierarchy is currently focused on bringing Nico Paz back from Como, another is actively working on creating opportunities for emerging academy stars elsewhere.
In that context, Como have positioned themselves as an ideal destination.

The Serie A side, managed by Cesc Fabregas, has made it clear that they value the technical and tactical education of Madrid’s youth system.
On that note, the likes of Yanez and Fortea both fit that mould.
The winger and the full-back were key figures in Real Madrid’s recent UEFA Youth League triumph, showcasing not just talent but maturity in high-pressure situations.
From Madrid’s perspective, sending players to Como is no longer just a temporary solution, as it is becoming part of a structured development model.
The success seen with Nico Paz has reinforced the idea that a carefully chosen loan or transfer pathway can accelerate growth far more effectively than limited minutes at the Castilla level.
For Como, meanwhile, the benefits are equally clear, as access to La Fabrica’s talent pool provides them with technically gifted players who can immediately raise the quality of the squad while still having room to grow.
