Even though he has had his ups and downs, Aurelien Tchouameni has firmly established himself as a permanent fixture in the Real Madrid midfield.

The French superstar arrived in 2022 as a replacement for club legend Casemiro and has done a solid job of it at the Santiago Bernabeu.

So much so that Manchester United are now looking at him for the summer transfer window as they look to replace Casemiro, who will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.

However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid absolutely have no intentions of selling Tchouameni in the summer.

The midfield mainstay, for his part, is also very happy at the club and is not looking for a way out. Therefore, there are no plans for a departure in the summer despite the growing interest from Manchester United.

Tchouameni has made 45 appearances for Real Madrid this term, being one of the regular starters both under Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa. He has also recorded two goals and two assists in the process.

The 26-year-old French international’s current contract with Los Blancos runs until the summer of 2028, meaning he will have two more years left on his deal at the end of the season.

As such, Real Madrid are considering offering him a new contract, especially given the interest that he has begun to attract.

Currently, Tchouameni is dealing with a left hamstring overload that has ruled him out of tonight’s La Liga encounter against Real Betis away at Estadio de La Cartuja.
