Newly acquired Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Elijah Sarratt attended and played high school football at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, MD on a campus just 2.5 miles north of M&T Bank Stadium. Sarratt's adoration for the Ravens' franchise stems back to his teenage years, and now, Surratt will become family to the flock.

Sarratt was the No. 115 selected player in the 2026 NFL Draft but Ravens head coach Jesse Minter and general manager Eric DeCosta had well determined that Sarratt's skillset would mesh well with the team. Sarratt hauled in 15 touchdown receptions one season ago for the Indiana Hoosiers and should play as a possession wide receiver to compliment others currently ahead of him on the depth chart like Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and Devontez Walker. Sarratt could potentially move up the depth chart as the season progresses and this will be heavily dependent on if offensive coordinator Declan Doyle plans on using a lot of 11-personnel this upcoming NFL season.

More Importantly, Sarratt is already well familiar with the Ravens' franchise, and he'll enjoy the comfort of playing in a familiar environment alongside all-pro teammates, and a coaching staff interested in maximizing his potential. The Ravens are scheduled to have organized team activities starting on May 18. Perhaps Sarratt will attend these non-mandatory practices to break ice with teammates and begin building rapport with his new family where he is destined to bear good fruit.
