Penn State's top draft pick is officially off the board in the 2026 NFL draft. Offensive lineman Olaivavega Ioane was selected by the Baltimore Ravens with 14th pick of the first round of the 2026 NFL draft on Thursday night.
Ioane was a first-team All-American and All-Big Ten player for the Nittany Lions in the 2025 season. In a pretty down year for Penn State on the field, Ioane was clearly one of the few bright spots on the team.
Vega is the first offensive lineman from Penn State to be selected in the first round since 2024 when Olumuyiwa Fashanu was chosen with the 11th pick of the first round by the New York Jets in the 2024 NFL draft. Penn State has had three offensive linemen selected in the NFL draft since 2000. Levi Brown was the fifth pick of the 2007 draft by the Arizona Cardinals.
Vega is Penn State's 390th all-time draft pick, making Penn State with the seventh-most draft picks in NFL history.
