Marcus Rashford has made his intentions clear: he wants to stay at Barcelona. The 28-year-old forward played a starring role in the club's La Liga title triumph, scoring a stunning free-kick in a 2-0 El Clásico victory over Real Madrid that sealed the championship on Sunday.

That goal wasn't just a moment of brilliance—it was historic. Rashford became only the sixth English player to score in El Clásico, and just the second to do so for Barcelona, following in the footsteps of Gary Lineker. He also etched his name into the record books as the first Barcelona player to score a direct free-kick against Real Madrid since Lionel Messi in October 2012.

With 14 goals this season, Rashford has been a key figure for the Catalans since his loan move from Manchester United. But his future remains uncertain. Barcelona hold an option to make the deal permanent for around £26 million, though the club has yet to confirm whether they'll trigger that clause.

Rashford, however, has no doubts about what he wants. Speaking to the BBC, he said: "I don't know. I'm not a magician, but if I was, I would stay at Barcelona. We will see. Football is unpredictable, but for now, I will just enjoy it, live in the moment, and reassess at the end of the season to see what is possible."

He added: "This Barça team is fantastic. They will win a lot in the next few years, so to stay here would be special."

For Rashford, this La Liga title marks the first league championship of his career—a milestone that makes a permanent move to Spain even more appealing. As the season winds down, all eyes will be on Barcelona's decision. Will they make the deal permanent? If Rashford has his way, the answer is a resounding yes.
