Head coach Danny Rohl says Rangers will be ready for the maelstrom when his team visit Tynecastle to play Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts in a must-win contest on Monday.

All eyes are on Tynecastle this Monday as Rangers head coach Danny Rohl prepares his squad for what he describes as a "must-win" clash against Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts. With the home side chasing their first top-flight title in 66 years, the atmosphere promises to be electric—and Rohl knows his team must be ready for the storm.

"The atmosphere will be on fire," Rohl said. "They fight for something, they play for a historical season and they go all-in, but we will also be ready for this. We go there and we'll be ready to fight."

At 37, Rohl has only one prior experience of the intensity Hearts fans can bring—a 2-1 defeat back in December—but he has a clear sense of what awaits. The stakes couldn't be higher: a loss would leave Rangers seven points adrift with just three games remaining, a gap that would be nearly impossible to close at this stage of the season.

"It will be, in some phases of the game, not the nicest one because there will be a lot of 50-50 duels," Rohl explained. "It is important that everyone on the pitch makes good decisions in both directions. It's crucial that we have the focus to bring our best football. We like to play from a hunter position, and now we want to hunt—we want to close the gap again."

The "ready" mantra is easier said than done. Just last Sunday, Rangers thought they were prepared for Motherwell but were blown away in the first half, staged a recovery, and then conceded late. Meanwhile, Hearts have built a reputation for winning games in the dying minutes, a resilience that partly explains their spot at the top of the table. Rohl also highlighted another threat: "Next to us, they have the most set-plays," he noted, pointing to the tactical edge his players must counter.

With four games left and the title race heating up, Rohl remains focused on the mission. "We dropped from one point behind to four points behind—we closed to three, to four, to one—and we have four games to go. We can close it again. It's exciting for everyone, and we are ready."
