Here is a look at the Las Vegas Raiders’ safety position after the draft:
The Raiders selected Arizona’s Tredyan Stukes with the No. 38 overall pick, in the second round. Stukes is a versatile player who can also play nickel cornerback. But he fits this system as a safety. His college teammate, Dalton Johnson, was added in the fifth round at No. 150 as part of the Tyree Wilson trade to New Orleans.
We could see Stukes get big playing time every early and he could tema with Chinn and take some playing time away from Pola-Mao. But again, We can see Stukes on the field as the nickel as well. Johnson may be more of a special teamer as a rookie.
