Back on November 4th, Bayern Munich picked up one of its season-defining wins as it outlasted Paris Saint-Germain 2-1. What made the game so special was that Bayern Munich winger Luis Díaz was hit with a red card right before halftime, so the Bavarians had to play more than half the game being down a man.

PSG star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has not forgotten that game and admitted that his team got outplayed.

“It will be a difficult game because Bayern are in great form right now, but we are PSG. We are capable of anything, we can beat anyone. We will give everything on the pitch,” Kvaratskhelia said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “I remember that game; we weren’t as good as them, and we also had some injuries. In the second half, we showed we were capable of anything and could have beaten them, but we couldn’t score enough goals”

When asked is he had to do anything special in training to prepare to face Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Kvaratskhelia called Bayern Munich’s captain a legend, but said that there is nothing specific you can do against such a quality netminder.

“It’s very difficult, he’s one of the best in the world. He’s a legend. We’ve already scored against him and we have to do the same tomorrow. We know what he’s capable of, with his feet as well. But we’re going to try to score. There isn’t any specific training,” Kvaratskhelia said.
