Paris Saint-Germain's attacking lineup could see a significant shake-up ahead of the 2026-27 season. While the capital club might be celebrating back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles, some players are reportedly seeking larger roles in the squad.

This summer, the Ligue 1 giants will likely be in the market for offensive reinforcements if certain key players decide to move on. Potential departures include Bradley Barcola, Gonçalo Ramos, and Lee Kang-in, all of whom have been linked with exits after this season.

So, who might PSG target if they need to hit the transfer market? One name that keeps surfacing is Julian Alvarez—a proven winner with experience thriving under pressure at the highest level.

According to Cadena SER, the Argentine forward could be considering a move away from Atletico Madrid, despite being under contract until 2030. Just two years after arriving from Manchester City, Alvarez has attracted interest from both Barcelona and Arsenal. Sources within Atletico believe the 26-year-old is open to a summer transfer.

The report adds that Barcelona is among Alvarez's preferred destinations, while a return to England currently doesn't appeal to him. As for PSG, discussions between the clubs have reportedly already taken place, though Alvarez has not formally informed Atletico of his desire to leave.

Despite stiff competition for his signature, PSG is prepared to make a strong push for the World Cup winner. In 49 appearances this season, Alvarez has netted 20 goals and provided nine assists across 3,549 minutes. He's been especially prolific in the Champions League, scoring 10 goals compared to eight in La Liga.

For PSG fans dreaming of a refreshed attack, Alvarez could be the perfect piece to keep the machine running at full speed. Stay tuned as the summer transfer window heats up.
