Paris Saint-Germain warmed up for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich by fielding a second-string line-up and throwing away the lead twice in a 2-2 draw with Lorient in Ligue 1 on Saturday.Lens also still have to play PSG at home on May 13, and Luis Enrique's side are clearly focused principally on the defence of their European title as they head to Munich for Wednesday's semi-final second leg with a 5-4 lead from the remarkable first meeting of the sides.

Paris Saint-Germain's focus was clearly elsewhere as they fielded a heavily rotated lineup and squandered a two-goal lead, settling for a 2-2 draw with Lorient in Ligue 1 on Saturday. The result came just days before their crucial Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich, where they hold a narrow 5-4 advantage.

Ibrahim Mbaye opened the scoring early with a fortunate goal at the Parc des Princes, but Pablo Pagis quickly leveled for the mid-table visitors. Warren Zaire-Emery restored PSG's lead shortly after coming off the bench in the second half, only for a costly mistake by teenage debutant Pierre Mounguengue to allow Aiyegun Tosin to equalize again. The hosts even thought they had won a stoppage-time penalty, but VAR overturned the decision after it was deemed a non-existent handball.

The draw keeps the Ligue 1 title race alive, with PSG now seven points clear of Lens, who still have four games remaining—including a trip to struggling Nice later Saturday and a visit to PSG on May 13. But Luis Enrique's side made no secret of their priorities, making nine changes to the starting XI from the midweek Champions League thriller.

Key stars Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia—both scorers against Bayern—remained unused substitutes, while Vitinha wasn't even in the matchday squad. The lineup featured 19-year-old goalkeeper Renato Marin in just his second first-team appearance, and fellow teenager Mbaye earning his first start in three months. Mounguengue, an 18-year-old forward, also saw minutes off the bench.

The result extends Lorient's impressive record against PSG, with the Brittany side now losing just one of their last five meetings. For PSG, the focus now shifts entirely to Wednesday's trip to Munich, where they'll look to defend their European crown and book a spot in the final, while their domestic dominance—aiming for a fifth straight Ligue 1 title and 12th in 14 seasons—remains on hold.
