PSG had decided to rotate against Lyon in Ligue 1 last Sunday. And that should once again be the case when hosting FC Nantes on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.

Paris Saint-Germain has entered the most difficult period of its season. Luis Enrique's collective is being put to a severe test. Without true summer preparation, PSG players are indeed accumulating physical difficulties.

The Spanish coach had decided to rotate somewhat against OL on Sunday night. A choice that did not pay off since the European champions lost at the Parc des Princes.

PSG maintains a short lead over RC Lens and could even extend it with a victory on Wednesday night in the makeup match against FC Nantes. While many wanted to see Paris field its typical team, that should not be the case.

As reported in recent hours by Culture PSG, some PSG players will already be absent for the hosting of the Canaries. This includes Quentin Ndjantou, Vitinha, and Nuno Mendes.

Also note that Enrique is reportedly considering rotating the goalkeeper position. Lucas Chevalier could therefore get some playing time. Desire Doue could be rested, while Fabian Ruiz is no longer expected to start the match despite Vitinha's absence.

It will therefore be another reshuffled Paris side that hosts a similarly depleted FC Nantes. The Canaries will have to do without the services of Kelvin Amian, Fabien Centonze, Dehmaine Tabibou (if his suspension is not lifted), and Tylel Tati. Mohamed Kaba and Remy Cabella are uncertain.

Whether on the PSG or Nantes side, this match will be very important and will have an impact on the end of the season. The capital club must not let RC Lens get closer to the top of the standings, while Nantes retains a slim hope of securing a playoff spot and thus saving its skin in Ligue 1.
