Wednesday's prep sports action delivered plenty of drama across the diamond, with standout pitching performances, big innings, and a walk-off home run headlining the day.

Baseball: Sarver's No-Hitter Highlights the Day
Plymouth's Tucker Sarver was untouchable on Wednesday, firing a seven-inning no-hitter in a win over Wawasee. While the Warriors drew nine walks, Sarver struck out 14 batters to keep them off the board. Wawasee drops to 2-7, 1-4 in the NLC.

Warsaw made a statement in Middlebury, routing Northridge 11-1 in five innings. The Raiders' offense was clicking, led by Preston Ryan's two hits, while the team drew six walks and was hit by three pitches. Northridge falls to 3-8, 1-4 in the NLC.

Mishawaka blanked NorthWood to reclaim the top spot in the Northern Lakes Conference. Despite the Panthers out-hitting the Cavemen 3-2, a double from Mishawaka's Alex Demaegd drove in the game's only earned run. NorthWood drops to 7-3, 3-2 in conference play.

Softball: Comebacks and Big Innings Rule the Day
Wawasee staged a thrilling comeback against Plymouth, trailing 3-0 after the first inning before battling back to tie it in the fifth. Ashlynn Corn then crushed a solo home run in the sixth to give the Warriors the go-ahead win. Hadley Allen and Kirra Alvarez each collected two hits, while Audra Weaver drove in two runs. Wawasee improves to 6-7, 2-2 in the NLC.

Northridge exploded for four runs in the second and seven in the third to dismantle Warsaw at home. The Raiders held the Tigers to just two hits while racking up 13 of their own. Mia Branam, Angelina Barbaro, Leighla Winchester, and Leah Lovely all drove in two runs apiece, with Winchester earning the win on the mound after three innings. Northridge moves to 4-3, 3-1 in the NLC.

Despite a combined 10 errors between the two teams, Mishawaka pulled away from NorthWood with a five-run sixth inning in Nappanee. Victoria Vega went 4-for-4 at the plate, Madelyn Lambert was 3-for-3, and Payton Sears drove in three runs on two hits for the Panthers. NorthWood falls to 5-9, 1-4 in the NLC.

Goshen out-hit Concord 9-3 but couldn't push a run across in a loss at Dunlap. Abby Snyder and Maddy Denning each recorded two hits for the RedHawks, but Concord's Lizbeth Flores and Esmeralda Perez drove in two runs apiece. The Minutemen improve to 3-6, 2-3 in the NLC, while Goshen drops to 2-8, 1-3.

Tennis and Golf Roundup
Concord fell to both South Bend St. Joseph and Penn on Wednesday. Individual results were not submitted by press time. The Minutemen now sit at 2-4 on the season.

Central Noble topped Goshen at Cobblestone Golf Course on Wednesday. Individual results were not submitted, but Goshen drops to 2-3.

Concord improved to 2-3 overall and 2-2 in the NLC with a sweep of Wawasee.
