The Wolfpack capped an impressive run by taking down Fowlerville 11-1 in the title game. Bella Latuszek was the driving force, delivering two hits and three RBI in the final. Over the course of three games, she racked up eight hits and 12 RBI, while Ju Ju Latuszek added four hits, a triple, and five runs scored to power Laingsburg to wins over Jackson Northwest (11-0) and Portland (21-6).
Portland St. Patrick Shines at Kris Popp Memorial
Gracelyn Rockey put on a show for the Shamrocks, going 3-for-5 with a home run, seven runs scored, and two RBI in a dominant 18-5 win over Lake Leelenau St. Mary's. Portland St. Patrick also defeated Glen Lake to round out a successful weekend. Kennedy Drake and Macie Leonard earned wins in the circle to anchor the pitching staff.
Lansing Catholic Captures St. Johns Invitational
The Cougars battled to a 4-2 victory over Lakewood in the championship game, thanks to a 3-for-4 performance from Jason Boldman, who doubled and drove in a run. Ethan Link added two hits and a double in the final, while Connor Weber earned the win and Watson Ferreri locked down the save. In the semifinal, Elijah Jungwirth powered Lansing Catholic past Ovid-Elsie 16-6 with a home run, three RBI, and three runs scored.
Charlotte Claims Fowler Invitational Title
The Orioles capped a strong weekend with an 11-2 win over Fremont in the championship game. Cam Place and Ethan Cheyne each collected two hits and three RBI to lead the offense. In the semifinal, Tyler Bowzer was dominant on the mound, striking out batters and allowing just two hits over six innings in a 2-1 victory over Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart.
Owosso Rolls to Birch Run Cat Classic Title
The Trojans were unstoppable, shutting out Millington 16-0 in the championship game. Jackson Valasek and Jacob Moore each had two hits in the final, while Jack Sydow closed things out on the mound.
