Pylant, Botto, and Sheridan South then powered through to win singles championships, making it a clean sweep for Decatur in several brackets. Not to be outdone, Hartselle's Caroline Sparks also claimed a singles championship, ensuring her team left its mark. Austin celebrated a thrilling 7-6 walk-off victory over Russellville, courtesy of Arden Breedlove's clutch sacrifice fly. Decatur's bats were on fire in a 13-1 win over Clements, led by Josey Hendrix's five RBIs. West Limestone's Aubrey Bethune launched a home run as part of a four-RBI day to fuel an 8-1 win, while pitcher Anna Hardiman dominated with 10 strikeouts.
In other notable results, Hatton's Jalen Heaps drove in three runs in a 9-2 victory, and Tanner's Michael Dempsey had a monster game, blasting a homer and collecting six RBIs in a 17-1 rout. On the golf course, Priceville's boys team won the Winston County Invitational upper division, led by top medalist Drei Netherton's round of 74.
