The Premier League served up another thrilling weekend of action, and our Team of the Week highlights the standout performers who made the difference. From Arsenal's title-chasing victory to Sunderland's spirited display, here are the players who earned their spot.
Goalkeeper: David Raya – Arsenal
After an excellent first-half save to deny Valentin Castellanos' diving header, Raya produced the moment of the match. His remarkable intervention to stop Mateus Fernandes one-on-one with the game still goalless might just have kept Arsenal's title hopes alive. It was the foundation for a late, vital win at the London Stadium.
Right-back: Daniel Munoz – Crystal Palace
A trademark performance from the Colombian, who showed no signs of fatigue despite Thursday's European exploits. Munoz dominated his defensive duels, winning 7 of 8 ground battles, while rampaging forward with real threat. He made four key passes and created three big chances for the Eagles.
Centre-back: Levi Colwill – Chelsea
Back from an ACL injury as if he'd never been away. Colwill's classy performance on his first start of the season showed Chelsea exactly what they've been missing. He led the match for interceptions and clearances in a complete centre-back display that brought calm to the backline.
Centre-back: Nathan Aké – Manchester City
Stepping in for Abdukodir Khusanov, Aké barely missed a beat. Composed in possession and reading the game superbly, he nullified the threat of Igor Thiago. The Dutch defender rarely lets anyone down, and this was another masterclass in reliability.
Left-back: Carlos Baleba – Brighton
Marked a rare start with two assists in the opening five minutes against Wolves. A floated cross was met by Jack Hinshelwood to open the scoring inside 35 seconds, before his corner kick was headed home by Lewis Dunk. The Belgian will hope this sparks a strong second season with the Seagulls.
Midfielder: Dan Neil – Sunderland
Fresh from being voted Sunderland's Player of the Year, Neil put in one of his best displays of the season against Manchester United. The Black Cats skipper led the game for touches (97), final third entries (23), possessions won (11), and tackles (3) in a top-class, all-action performance.
Midfielder: Granit Xhaka – Bayer Leverkusen
Another midfield master from the former Arsenal man. Xhaka controlled the tempo and set the standard for his side, proving once again why he remains one of the most influential players in Europe.
Midfielder: Jérémy Doku – Manchester City
The Belgian winger was a constant threat down the flank, using his pace and trickery to torment defenders. His ability to create space and deliver dangerous crosses made him a standout performer in City's latest victory.
Forward: Anass Zaroury – Burnley
Has been a standout for Burnley since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations and was the pick of the bunch against Aston Villa this weekend. The Tunisian charged around the pitch with intent, creating four chances, including a wonderful assist that showcased his creative flair.
Forward: Jack Hinshelwood – Brighton
Scored inside 35 seconds and continued to cause problems all afternoon. The young midfielder's energy and movement were key to Brighton's fast start and eventual victory.
Forward: Lewis Dunk – Brighton
The veteran defender showed his aerial prowess once again, heading home from a corner to add to his growing collection of goals from set pieces. A leader at both ends of the pitch.
