Zan Vipotnik has set his sights on the Premier League, declaring it his ultimate ambition while outlining a clear target for his current club, Swansea City. The Slovenian striker, who is leading the Championship's golden boot race with 21 goals this season, believes a playoff push should be the Swans' primary objective for the next campaign.

"That's my goal," the 24-year-old stated. "I would like to play one day in the Premier League, [whether that is] with Swansea or with another club, God will decide." His impressive form has naturally attracted attention from other clubs, though Swansea's head coach Vitor Matos confirmed there have been no formal approaches yet.

Despite the speculation, Vipotnik recently reaffirmed his commitment to the Welsh side by signing a new contract in March, tying him to the club until 2030. He expressed contentment with life at Swansea, citing happiness for both himself and his family. "The club recognised my work and also I recognised the project," he told BBC Sport Wales. "I am happy here... so it was not a tough decision."

However, he acknowledged the unpredictable nature of the transfer window, adding, "I am happy here but we will see in the summer what will happen."

Looking ahead, Vipotnik emphasized the importance of setting realistic, high-level targets. With the Championship playoff format expanding next season to include teams from third to eighth place, he sees a top-eight finish as a crucial and achievable stepping stone. "We need to set good goals at the start of next season that we can achieve," he said, framing the playoffs as a necessary bridge toward the long-term dream of Premier League football.
