The weekend's struggles began in District 6-4A play, where Plaquemine fell 13-3 to West Feliciana. West Feliciana's offense was potent, racking up ten hits while limiting the Green Devils to just two.

The most difficult loss came against Brusly, where the Panthers erupted for twelve runs in the bottom of the first inning en route to a decisive 16-1 victory. Brusly added two runs in each of the next two frames, ending the game early on the 15-run rule. Plaquemine was held to two hits and committed three errors in the tough outing.

Despite the tough final weekend, players like Christian Boudreaux, who scored runs in multiple contests, showed flashes of offensive spark.
