Spring football is in full swing in Orlando, and the UCF Knights gave fans an early look at what's brewing for the upcoming season during an open practice at the Acrisure Bounce House Stadium on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Head coach Scott Frost was front and center, getting hands-on with the quarterback room. Dressed in his signature black shirt, Frost coached up signal-callers Rocco Marriott (No. 8) and Dante Carr (No. 16) as they worked through drills. The energy was palpable as the Knights' offense looked to build chemistry under the Florida sun.

Speaking of quarterbacks, the depth chart is taking shape. Quarterbacks coach McKenzie Milton—a name familiar to UCF faithful—was spotted mentoring a deep group that included Marriott, Carr, Kaleb Annett (No. 10), Alonza Barnett III (No. 14), and Keyone Jenkins (No. 12). With so much talent under center, the competition for the starting job is heating up.

On the ground, running back Landen Chambers showcased his explosiveness, turning heads with his runs during team drills. And in the passing game, receiver Tyren Hornes made a strong impression, hauling in catches and showing off his route-running ability. Both players are poised to be key playmakers when the Knights take the field this fall.

The practice wasn't just about the players—it was a community event. Fans packed the stands, cheering on their team and getting a first-hand look at the hard work being put in during the offseason. From drills to scrimmages, the Knights are laying the foundation for what promises to be an exciting season.

For UCF supporters, this open practice was a reminder that the grind never stops. And for those looking to rep their team in style, there's no better time to gear up in Knights apparel as the countdown to kickoff begins.
