Pep Guardiola is once again in the running for the Premier League Manager of the Month award, this time for April—and his record speaks for itself.

The Manchester City boss was one of just two managers to boast a perfect 100% win record in the league last month, steering his side to three commanding victories. City kicked off April with a dominant 3-0 win over Chelsea, followed by a crucial 2-1 triumph against title rivals Arsenal, and rounded things off with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Burnley.

While City also cruised past Liverpool (4-0) and Southampton (2-1) in April, those matches were in the FA Cup and don't count toward this particular accolade. Still, Guardiola's ability to maintain momentum across competitions has been a hallmark of his managerial genius.

He faces stiff competition from six other nominees. Liverpool's Arne Slot also managed three league wins, while Daniel Farke (Leeds United), Fabian Hürzeler (Brighton), Nuno Espirito Santo (West Ham), Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth), and Vitor Pereira (Nottingham Forest) all impressed in their own right.

Voting is now open, and the winner will be announced at midday on Friday, May 8. Whether you're backing Pep or another tactician, this race is shaping up to be one of the tightest of the season.
